The Superintendence of the solidarity economy set from 1 to 28 February the deadline for organizations under its supervision make the payment of the first installment of the contribution rate.
In the year 2013, are obliged to the payment of the contribution rate all organizations who register a total net assets at 31 December 2012, equal to or greater than $248.414.003. If the assets at the date are less than this value, the entity is not obliged to the payment of the contribution rate.
To obtain of the rate of contribution, the entities should have reported the official form of accountability to the 31 of December of 2012 cut through the Sigcoop.
The module for settlement and payment of the rate is available in Menu payment online of the portal www.supersolidaria.gov.co. The omission or delay in payment results in penalties and the payment of default interest.
Levels of supervision
Superintendence of solidarity economy updated ranges of assets for different levels of supervision that applies the entity to its monitored organizations.
By 2013, the Level 1 covers to all specialized cooperatives of saving and credit and multiactive or integrals cooperatives with savings and credit section. To this level also belong other cooperatives, funds of employees and mutual, that by its complexity and size, they have been selected by the Superintendence.
The Level 2 covers cooperatives that do not exert financial activity, whose assets at December 31, 2012 are equal to or greater than three thousand one hundred ninety-two millions nine hundred ninety-two thousand three hundred twenty-four pesos ($3.192.992.324).
The organizations which no exert financial activity and whose asset at 31 December 2012 is less than this number belong to Level 3.
These levels are authorized by Decree 2159 of 1999. Each of them determines the type of legal, financial and accounting analysis that applies the Superintendence, the amount of the contribution rate, their reporting and the frequency of them, among other issues.
The rate of contribution and the new ranges of levels of supervision were established in the External Circular 002 of January 23 available in the norms (Normatividad) menu of the portal www.supersolidaria.gov.co
