SUPERSOLIDARIA PRESENTS GOOD GOVERNANCE GUIDE TO THE SUPERVISED ORGANIZATIONS.

Through Circular Letter No.005 from the first of March 2013, the Superintendence of the Solidary Economy made available to entities under supervision the Guide of Good Governancewith the aim of to provide to partners, managers, administrators, organs of control and surveillance of solidarity organizations, an instrument of internal rules, whose application may mitigate, minimize and/or control the risks inherent in making decisions; as also improve relations between partners, organs of administration, monitoring and control, and users of the services provided by the organizations of the solidary sector.

It also seeks to promote, through the practices of Good Governance, a greater transparency and the participation of partners of the solidary institutions.

The Good Governance guide was prepared by the Superintendence of the Solidary Economy and the Confederation of Cooperatives of Germany - DGRV, in an international cooperation agreement. It became part of the actions of the Operational Plan of 2012.

From the Superintendence of the Solidary Economy call for solidarity organizations is taking it as a guide and going from theory to practice implementing the Code of Good Governance to the inside of each Solidary Organization.

Although it is not mandatory, is expected that the assemblies in the year 2014 the supervised adopt Codes of Good Governance.
